Client emails myself about their idea. I will read through client's idea and determine if it's something I want to make, if it's legal and if it is something I have to skills to create. If all is good, I'll ask more about specifics.

Frequent Questions:
What is a Commission?
A commission is the process of requesting a particular artist create something specifically for you. The final piece might be a character you've always dreamed of creating, or a portrait of a passed on family pet, or even a design that you want to have printed on t shirts and mugs.
Artists have many different mediums they can work with like oil paint, collage, digital, etc.
How do I know if an artist is accepting commissions?
The artist will tell you! If they don't have it posted somewhere on their site or social platforms that they are accepting new projects, then assume they are not.
Why might an artist be closed for commissions?
Popular artists tend to have longer waiting list times because there is only one of them making your art. When many others are asking the same of them, they have to balance starting new pieces, continuing pieces in the works and completing others. Some can handle multitasking on many projects at once, while others might only be able to handle one-at-a-time.
Why might my commission idea get rejected?
Any artist has the right to refuse any commission idea, so long as it does not impede on the potential client's basic human rights.
